A new version of Mini Template System got released today: Version 1.4.03. This is mainly a maintance version regarding the external scripts used. MTS include now the latest jQuery, jQueryUI, 960gs and bxGallery scripts

What is new in this version:

Script upgrades

The bxGallery script has been upgraded to work with jQuery 1.8.0 and 1.8.1. The script is responsible for all product and banner sliders and was showing an incorrect behavior under jQuery 1.8.0

Grid styles upgraded

All 960 grid files have been upgraded to the latest version, please visit the 960gs website for more details. Mini template system offers 10 alternative store widths that you can select via your administration panel

jQuery UI themes upgraded

All included jQueryUI themes are upgraded to the latest jQueryUI version 1.8.23, so you can use them with the latest jQueryUI version

Additional, there are 7 new themes available now, including the 2 themes used in the  template examples due to popular demand

Internet explorer emulation mode

You can now select if you want to force internet explorer to view your website like using a particular version, 8 or 9. This setting may be useful in case of issues with any jQuery versions

Further improvements are done in a smarter depending selection of jQueryUI version and theme, including now also the default template theme

The new version is available to download right away. Upgrade packages have been sent to all mini template system users, as usually free of charge. Please be patient up to 24 hours before asking why you didn’t receive the upgrade.

Existing users, please note, that you can perform the upgrade on any osCommerce version 2.3.1, 2.3.2 or 2.3.3
